Application


Draka fire performance cables are specifically designed to facilitate the quick and orderly evacuation of the buildings
occupants in the events of an emergency. Purpose designed to maintain circuit integrity to a host of critical safety systems,
including fire alarms, emergency lights, CCTV systems and emergency power supplies.
 

Cable Structure & Features

Conductor material (CU) Plain annealed stranded circular copper conductor, Class 2
Fire proof layer (MGT) Mica tape to IEC60331-21/SS229-1/BS6387
Insulation (XLPE) Cross-linked polyethylene, XLPE
Pairing / Twining Two/Three/Four insulated cores are cabled together and covered with a polyester tape wrapping
Overall Screen (OSCR), Min. 20% overlap of aluminium backed polyester tape in contact with 0.5mm² (16/0.20mm) tinned annealed drain wire followed by a polyester tape wrapped over the screening tape
Outer sheath (LSHF-AT-AR) Low smoke zero halogen compound with anti-termite and anti-rodent additives and UV stabilizer.
